Privacy Policy
Effective September 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wise Marketeer ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you visit wisemarketeer.com or use Wise Marketeer (the "Service").
1. Two roles
- Your account data (who you are as our customer): we decide how it's used, so we are the controller.
- Data you put into the tools about your own contacts — subscribers, WhatsApp or SMS contacts, website and ad data: you decide how it's used; we process it on your behalf as your processor. Your contacts should read your privacy notice, and requests from them should go to you first.
2. What we collect
- Account details: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), sign-up and login times, plan and subscription status, and when you accepted our Terms.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and invoice status; we never see or store your full card number.
- Connected accounts: when you connect Google Ads we store an access token (encrypted) and the performance data we pull from your account (campaigns, keywords, search terms, costs, conversions, call details). When you connect other services, we store what's needed to operate them.
- Content you create or upload: contact lists, message and campaign content, templates, rules, websites and keywords you ask us to analyse, and your conversations with the AI assistant and support.
- Usage and technical data: which features you use (for plan limits and cost tracking), IP address, browser information and error logs.
- Email events: for emails sent through the Email tool, delivery, open, click, bounce and complaint events, used for reports and to protect deliverability.
3. How we use it
- To provide the Service: run your tools, send the messages you schedule, generate AI output you request and show reports (performance of a contract).
- To bill you and enforce plan limits (contract; legal obligations for tax and accounting).
- To send service emails: verification, security, trial reminders and billing notices (contract). A few onboarding tips after sign-up, which you can stop from any of them (legitimate interests).
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and spam, and protect deliverability for all customers (legitimate interests).
- To improve the Service using aggregated usage information (legitimate interests).
We don't sell your personal data, we don't "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don't use your contacts' data for our own marketing.
4. Google user data
Wise Marketeer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google Ads data only to provide the features you use in the Service; we don't use it for advertising or sell it, and people don't read it except with your permission, for security, or where required by law.
5. Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the Service — for hosting, payments, email delivery, AI generation and SEO data. The full list and what each one does is on our Service Providers page. They may only use the data to provide their service to us. We may also disclose data if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer, in which case this policy continues to apply.
6. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses offered by those providers.
7. How long we keep it
- Account data: while your account is open, and up to 90 days after closure unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Your tool content: until you delete it or close your account (plus up to 30 days to allow an export).
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically up to 7 years).
- Opt-out and suppression records (people who unsubscribed or replied STOP) are kept for as long as needed to keep honouring them, because deleting them would allow those people to be messaged again.
- Logs: kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
8. Security
We use HTTPS throughout, store passwords as hashes, encrypt third-party credentials and access tokens at rest, restrict administrative access, and verify the signatures of incoming webhooks. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we'll notify you as required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have rights under the CCPA, including to know, delete and correct personal information; we don't sell or share personal information. You can download a copy of your data, or delete your account and its data, yourself at any time from Settings in your dashboard. For anything else, or to make a request another way, contact us using the details below — we'll respond within the time the law requires and won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Cookies
We use only essential cookies. See our Cookie Notice.
11. Children
The Service isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date at the top. For significant changes we'll also notify account holders by email.
